Blueberry Spritzer ~ Mocktail

I believe if you change the way you look at things the things you look at change.” ~ Wayne Dyer

Change the way you think of Mondays and celebrate the start of a new week, a week to accomplish new drinks, I mean things. Being Monday though, I do think it’s best served with something non-alcoholic, a Blueberry Spritzer Mocktail.

When I think of a mocktail, it reminds me of my childhood. A time where you’d be at a restaurant with the family and as a treat you would order a ‘kids cocktail’. What usually followed, was a tall glass with various fruit juices, still swirling as it mixed between the ice cubes and made its way to your table. It was overly sweetened juice made from concentrate and topped with a heavy-handed shot/s of Grenadine. It was delicious… back then.

For a more exciting Monday evening experiment, of finding something sparkling and a little decadent without the customary mocktail sweetness, the Blueberry Spritzer is born.
