“The elixir of quietude”
Elwyn Brooks White [American Writer] Referring to the Martini
I’m not at all sure about a Dirty Martini but if it has been called “The elixir of quietude” it’s definitely this one ?
~Dirty Martini~
2 parts Vodka
1 part Dry Vermouth
1 part Olive Brine
Shake and shake some more… this is obviously not the “quietude” he was referring to.
Pour into a chilled martini glass and garnish with an olive (or two)
Sip and may the quietude ensue ?♀️… Any good Martini recipes to try?
